Create a Huddle Room anywhere with Heckler Design Carts

Posted by Ryan Pinke on

One of the questions we get all the time is ...

How do I create a huddle room?

In the past, we would go through the various components that make up a Huddle Room (the camera, the speaker phone and audio, the display, the controls) and then talk about how to use open space(s) effectively.  Then we talk about the usual environment considerations (lighting, noise, movement) since most huddle rooms are not physical rooms with four walls - but most are in open spaces.

And when talking about Huddle Rooms, where the display would be installed was a huge consideration. If it's in an open space, and you needed two displays, that was going to require lots of "space", which in many cases mean wall space, and that limits your options.

That was before Heckler Design came out with their display carts.  With the Heckler carts, you can configure either a single or dual display, have

all your components installed or stored on the

cart and since it's on smooth rolling wheels, you can put it anywhere in your office.  In fact, you can move it from one office for an hour, then move it to an open space where your project sits or even put it into another video enabled conference room.

You can go from a single static option to a dynamic option of creating huddle spaces anywhere.  In fact, we loved the idea so much, we decided to create Cart Kits (similar to our room kits) to help you get started creating huddle spaces where ever you need them in your office.

Check out our Zoom Rooms Cart Kits and start imagining what you could do if any space become a Huddle Room.  Our carts are designed with everything you need to get started immediately - it includes all the cart hardware, camera, audio, room controls, iPad, and cables. Once it's all assembled, you can start collaborating with your team.
