It provides 8 wired input zones, 1 relay output, and a built-in VLink hub that can support up to 160 Verkada wireless sensors, making it useful for both retrofit alarm takeovers and larger new Verkada alarm deployments.

For buildings with existing wired sensors, the BE32 can help reduce installation complexity by consolidating multiple sensor runs into a single RS485 cable back to the BP32 or BP52 alarm panel.
