Featuring two unidirectional microphone capsules with a pickup distance of up to 12 feet, the expansion mic captures voices with clarity and precision from across the table. Built-in auto echo cancellation, noise suppression, and gain and level control ensure clean, professional audio without manual adjustments. Simply plug the microphone into your soundbar’s expansion microphone port with the included cable, and you’re ready to go.
Extended Coverage for Larger Rooms
The VB342 and VB342+ soundbars are ideal all-in-one solutions for huddle rooms, but when your meetings grow beyond a small group, audio pickup can suffer. The Expansion Microphone solves this by extending the soundbar’s reach, ensuring participants seated farther from the soundbar are heard clearly by remote attendees. With a 12-foot pickup range, it captures voices from across medium and large conference tables.
