Moving from Zoom Rooms to Microsoft Teams Rooms sounds straightforward.

Your organization has standardized on Microsoft Teams, so the conference rooms should follow.

The challenge is that a conference room is not simply an application running on a display. It is an ecosystem of cameras, microphones, speakers, room compute, touch controllers, displays, cabling, licensing, management tools, and platform-specific hardware that was selected to operate together.

That makes a Zoom Rooms to Microsoft Teams Rooms migration more complex than replacing one piece of hardware or installing different software.

And it is a conversation we are hearing a lot more frequently from organizations right now.

The best place to start is discovery.

Start With Why You Are Moving

Before asking which Microsoft Teams Room kit to purchase, understand why the organization is making the transition.
