Which is the best Zoom Rooms Video Conferencing Appliance? Neat Bar vs Logitech Rally Bar vs Poly Studio X50

Posted by Video Conference Gear on 8/26/2021

At VCG, we have dedicated demo rooms for the products we sell. This allows us to test and compare products in a "real" conference room setting - from small spaces to an open area.  When new products are released, we get to test them against our previous "favorites" to see what's improved and what hasn't.  We also get to test them on multiple video conferencing platforms - we have Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams rooms, RingCentral rooms and even the ability to test other platforms as needed by our customers.

Video Conferencing Appliances.

So when a new category of All-In-One cameras came out, we wanted to test them - head to head.  Appliances are the generation of the all-in-one market - some call them video soundbars, other call them VC appliances, but the primary basis of the category is the room computer is integrated into the camera/audio hardware.  To this point, all are based upon the Android OS.  Currently, Zoom is the only platform which has an application to work across these appliances, but Microsoft will be releasing their rooms version very soon (it's being tested now).

We have a small conference room (about 10x10) with three (3) of the early leaders in the appliance space:

We compare all three, in the same room, on Zoom Rooms. We wanted to figure out which of these three operated best overall - camera, in-room microphone pickup and in-room sound.  See the video below to find out how the test went.

The only way you can make the best decision for your company is to see products in action.  How they operate, how the perform and how the handle different "room" environments.  At VCG, we have several rooms dedicated to giving your a live demonstration of the best video conferencing products available on the market today.
